Final Project: Animated Infographic
Research the given topic in your group and break down the information into parts - narrative and visualization to educate the viewers on the issue.

Use questions ‘What, why, where, when, who, and how’ into the building of your narrative before transferring the information onto your storyboard. Use relevant visuals to create associations of information to the infographics. Refer to the chart here to decide how to visualize.

Expected outcomes:
- An animated infographic informing the audience about a given topic (min 1.5 - max 3 min video)
- Must include some form of data/statistics.
- Must use the questioning technique and provide answers.

Research on Cyberbullying
We started with doing basic research on the topic as the topic was very board to cover on everything. We narrow down a few subtopics we could work on and voted on what we thought was the bigger issue in today's day and age.

After the group vote, we decided to focus more to "The impact of social media on cyberbullying" to share about how the social media platforms facilitate the happenings of cyberbullying that could lead to the fall of one's mental health.

We compiled the information research on cyberbullying to obtain some data that could be useful to be included in the animation later on.

Script Narrative
Before we make the storyboard, we had to do script wrting and storyline for the animation.
We tried to make the script as detailed without passing the time limit while making sure it's understandable to the viewers.

Storyline
The story begins with a girl taking a selfie to share on social media. Pleased with the photo, she uploads it to her preferred platform, Bananagram. However, her joy is short-lived as she receives hurtful comments about her appearance. Obsessively, she repeatedly checks for new comments, even during breaks and before going to bed. These comments weigh heavily on her mind as she takes them personally, reflected in her changed behaviour of dressing in loose clothing to hide herself.

One day, she discovers a post mentioning her with more negative comments attached. This exacerbates her inner turmoil, leading to sleepless nights filled with tears and despair. In an attempt to find solace, she decides to disconnect from the online world entirely. With time and self-reflection, she begins to heal. Upon returning to the internet, she encounters the same hurtful comments, but now they no longer have power over her. Confident in herself, she realizes that others' opinions hold no sway over her, embracing her identity as a strong, resilient individual.

Script breakdown and visual suggestions

We did the voice recording to time the duration of the script. It turned out to surpass the time give which was more than 4 minutes. We resolved it by cutting some parts of the script to meet the time requirement.

Storyboard, Visual Style, Color Scheme

Moodboard
These are some of the infographics we got our inspiration from.

Visual References
These are the examples of visual references we got to include in the animated presentation consisting of the animatics and so on.

Color Palette
From the visuals above, we derieved a few colors for the palette choice.

The most common colors used for the anticyberbullying movements are blue and orange. The color blue signifies the trust, reliability, and responsibility. Blue color has been used in the promotion of the movement of antibullying programs in schools and organizations.

The color orange signifies a tangible presentation of the supportive universal message to prevent bullying and is united for kindness, acceptance and inclusion. Not only that it is seen in most posters that the color orange becomes a good complimentary color to the color blue.

Storyboard planning

Animatics according to storyboard
We were first tasked to make an animatic to show the illustrated storyboard line
