Week 7
This week, Mr Fauzi explained on how to do file linking between different
software (eg. Premiere Pro and After Effects). This is important because we
can't do sound in After Effects so we need to link the file to Premiere Pro
to insert and edit the sound.
It is easier to do it in After Effects first, then only in Premiere Pro.
1. Make the background transparent
2. Render the file
3. Export in MOV
4. Import from Premiere Pro

Week 10
This week we learned how to do camera tracking.
- Allows motion tracking for the text according to angle of camera placed
- Track solid

Project 2: Channel Bumper
Students will synthesis the knowledge gained in Task 1 for
application in Task 2. Students are to demonstrate ability to
explore and generate an abstract channel bumper in any
creative approach with consideration of good audio tempo and
visually compelling video. Students are to use information for
any proposed channel (*existing or fictional) create
mood-board that reflects their concept/idea style-guide that
conveys final look and feel storyboard animatics explore
appropriate audio to uplift the motion tempo.
Requirements:
- Compiled and present your progress in Slide (*moodboard, style
guides, sketches, storyboard)
- 10 - 15 sec video (*.mp4, h2.64, 16:9 - 1440 X 1080, 25 fps,
ACC, 48kHz uploaded to YouTube channel).
Storyboard
The first thing I did was come out with a few storyboards of how I wanted my motion graphics to look like scene by scene.
Motion Graphics - After Effects
When the composition is done and the layers were separated, I added them into After Effects to edit each clip scene. Then when the editing for each scene is done, I exported them and compiled it into Premiere Pro.
Compilation & Sound - Premiere Pro
Compiling the clips in Premiere Pro was fairly simple, however I made some changes and did not follow my storyboard exactly. I placed the clips one after another in a manner that made sense.

Final Project 2 Chanel Bumper - Motion Graphics
The first thing I did was come out with a few storyboards of how I wanted my motion graphics to look like scene by scene.
Composition - Photoshop
Next I came up with the composition in Photoshop. It took me a while to perfect the composition while trying a bunch of different layouts.

Once the final compilation is done, I found sound such as background music and audio effects to add to my video. It took me a while to find these audios and it was a really time consuming process to find ones that match the vibe.

Week 11
Project 2 is just logo revealing with simple animation. Project 3 is the details about the contents plus with logo revealing at the end. Basically, just make sure you have enough duration for both Project 2 &
Reflection
I like the outcome of my work. It took a long while to create the composition in Photoshop as well as find the audio to match the vibe I was going for. Nevertheless, it was quite a fun time to do this project.
